Pitch Talks
Pitch Talks is a baseball speaker series dedicated to bringing local journalists, experts and former pro players together for a night of interactive storytelling and debate. Pitch Talks, focused on baseball, are both managed by Toronto-based Homestand. Founded in 2014, Pitch Talks has held more than 50 shows to date, with shows in more than ten cities and some of the biggest names in sports journalism gracing our stage.

On January 26th, PITCH TALKS is headlined by ESPN's lead baseball writer, Buster Olney. The show will also include a live recording of Sportsnet's, AT THE LETTERS, hosted by Arden Zwelling and Ben Nicholson-Smith which will also be streamed live on Sportsnet.ca. Leading off is a panel on sports podcasting featuring Joshua Macri (ESPN), Drew Fairservice (Birds All Day), and John Grigg (Editor, Sportsnet Magazine).

Speakers at previous Pitch Talks events have included national baseball personalities such as Jonah Keri, Stephen Brunt, Gregg Zaun, Dan Shulman, Buster Olney, Ken Rosenthal, and, in an exclusive appearance in September 2015, Toronto Blue Jays former GM Alex Anthopoulos
