CITYSEARCH
After several disastrous reincarnations, Moe's has returned with its original owners and initial appeal intact: top-notch indie-rock booking and decadent, debauched ambience.  The old showroom wall was demolished, the stage expanded and sound system upgraded -- changes that dramatically increased the capacity and the audiences enjoyment. There's not a bad sight line in the house; although occasionally over-sold shows can make things uncomfortably snug.  Crimson walls, flirtatious mermaid murals and balcony seating are welcome additions, while signature clown paintings in the showroom give a nod to the past.

Wunderkind booking agent Jason Lajuenesse is one of the city's savviest agents and consistantly builds the calendar to prove it.  Cutting-edge indie-rock acts like the Yeah Yeah Yeah's, Iron and Wine and the Electric Six pack in a young, stylish, hard-drinking crowd.
